Loving our local National Park; partnering with a great charity to get more children adventuring in nature.

We love the great outdoors; we love the wild and wonderful 16,267 square kilometres of the UK’s 15 wild and wonderful National Parks. We’re proud that Spotty Otter is in long-term partnership with the UK National Parks Foundation (donating 15% of all profits from our Forest clothing and footwear ranges), and we’re big fans of pulling on the right weatherproof clothing and exploring the diverse natural resource right on the doorstep.

Situated right in the heart of the Peak District, here at Spotty Otter HQ, we’re unashamedly bigging up our local National Park, and partnering with local charity the Peak District Foundation. Their brilliant Ambassador Schools programme gives teachers and pupils resources and support to access the countryside as part of primary school education.

We know engaging with nature has huge long-term benefits for children’s creativity, curiosity, motivation, self-confidence, mental and physical health, so we’re proud to be helping clear their path to discovering this amazing resource.

We’ve got our Accounts Otters donating 15% of all sales from our Spotty Otter Nature Club Boxes to the programme, while our Postal Otters have been busy shipping £2,000-worth of children’s clothing to the Peak District National Park’s Ambassador Schools so that access to the right kit – including waterproofs and wellies – isn’t a barrier to children experiencing the outdoors.

The Spotty Otter team love exploring “our” Peak District National Park, but what about your local Park? We love receiving your pictures and stories of Spotty Ottering about in your local- or favourite- National Park, so share them with Spotty Otter family and become an ambassador for the Great Outdoors!
